Colts' Brissett (concussion) cleared to play
Nov 26, 2017 - 6:54 AM Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett has cleared the concussion protocol and will start Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans. The Colts said an independent neurologist cleared Brissett on Saturday.
"I feel good," Brissett told the team website on Saturday. "I had a good week of preparation and as a team we had a good week of practice."
Brissett suffered the concussion during a Nov. 12 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Colts were off last week.
Brissett has passed for 2,172 yards and nine touchdowns against five interceptions this season. He also has rushed for four touchdowns.
He became the starter in Week 2 and remained in that role because of Andrew Luck eventually being ruled out for the season with a shoulder injury.
