Flyers assign RW Ruzicka to Phantoms
Oct 19, 2007 - 10:26 PM PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- One day after being recalled by the Philadelphia Flyers, right wing Stefan Ruzicka on Friday was assigned to the Philadelphia Phantoms of the American Hockey League.The 22-year-old Ruzicka played 3 minutes, 36 seconds on nine shifts in the Flyers' 4-0 victory over the New Jersey Devils on Thursday. The Slovakian recorded two penalty minutes and a plus-1 rating in the contest.
A third-round pick in 2003, Ruzicka did not record a point in two games with the Flyers this season. He has collected three goals and a team-leading eight points in five contests with the Phantoms.
