Rangers send D Pock to minors
Oct 25, 2007 - 9:56 PM NEW YORK (Ticker) -- The New York Rangers cleared room on their blue line Thursday, assigning Thomas Pock to Hartford of the American Hockey League.Signed as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Massachusetts in March 2004, Pock appeared in just one game with the Rangers this season, playing nearly 19 minutes while posting a minus-2 rating. The 25-year-old Austrian defenseman made his NHL debut in 2003-04, notching two goals and two assists in six contests.
Pock saw action in 44 games last season, registering four tallies and eight points. In 59 career contests, he has collected seven goals, seven assists and 20 penalty minutes.
