Oilers assign C Pouliot to minors

Nov 3, 2007 - 10:09 PM EDMONTON, Alberta (Ticker) -- The Edmonton Oilers on Saturday assigned center Marc Pouliot to Springfield of the American Hockey League.

The 22nd overall pick in the 2003 draft, Pouliot appeared in nine games for the Oilers this season, recording four penalty minutes and a minus-7 rating.

A 22-year-old native of Quebec, Pouliot has collected five goals, seven assists and 22 penalty minutes in 63 career contests with Edmonton.
