Bruins recall C Nokelainen, assign C Krejci
Nov 4, 2007 - 9:16 PM BOSTON (Ticker) -- The Boston Bruins made a pair of roster moves Sunday, recalling Petteri Nokelainen from Providence and assigning fellow center David Krejci to their American Hockey League affiliate.Acquired on September 11 from the New York Islanders, Nokelainen recorded three goals and five assists in eight games with Providence this season. Drafted 16th overall by New York in 2004, the 21-year-old Finn appeared in 15 contests with the Islanders in 2005-06, registering one tally, two points and four penalty minutes.
Krejci, 21, notched three assists in 12 games with the Bruins this campaign. The Czech, who was a second-round pick in 2004, made his NHL debut in 2006-07, collecting two penalty minutes in six contests.
