Blackhawks assign D Richmond to minors
Nov 9, 2007 - 11:52 PM CHICAGO (Ticker) -- The Chicago Blackhawks on Friday assigned defenseman Danny Richmond to Rockford of the American Hockey League.Acquired from Carolina in January 2006, Richmond appeared in one game with Chicago this season and did not record a point. The 23-year-old native of the Windy City has collected three assists and 73 penalty minutes in 43 career contests with the Hurricanes and Blackhawks.
Richmond was selected by Carolina in the second round of the 2003 draft.
