Flames activate, assign G Krahn
Nov 13, 2007 - 1:30 AM CALGARY, Alberta (Ticker) -- The Calgary Flames on Monday activated goaltender Brent Krahn from injured reserve and assigned him to Quad City of the American Hockey League.Drafted ninth overall in 2000, Krahn suffered a knee injury during training camp and has been rehabilitating the injury since.
Last season, the 25-year-old appeared in 28 games with Omaha of the AHL, posting a 14-12-0 record with two shutouts and a 2.42 goals-against average. He has yet to make his NHL debut.
