Rangers recall RW Moore, D Baranka
Nov 21, 2007 - 5:23 AM NEW YORK (Ticker) -- The New York Rangers added to their roster Tuesday, recalling right wing Greg Moore and defenseman Ivan Baranka from Hartford of the American Hockey League.Moore has been recalled for the third time this season but has yet to make his NHL debut. A fifth-round pick of Calgary in 2003, the 23-year-old native of Maine has recorded team highs of 10 goals and 18 points in 18 games with the Wolf Pack.
Baranka, 22, was selected in the second round of the 2003 draft. The Slovakian has appeared in 17 contests with Hartford this campaign, notching two tallies and five assists.
The Rangers on Tuesday also assigned left wing Nigel Dawes to the Wolf Pack.
In 16 games with New York, Dawes registered four goals - including one game-winner - and one assist. The 22-year-old, who was a fifth-round pick in 2003, collected a tally and five points in three contests with Hartford earlier this season.
