Flames send down D Pardy

Dec 13, 2007 - 1:17 AM CALGARY, Alberta (Ticker) -- Adam Pardy's NHL debut will have to wait.

Eight days after being recalled by the Calgary Flames, Pardy on Wednesday was assigned to Quad City of the American Hockey League.

A sixth-round pick in 2004, Pardy did not see any action for the Flames during his stay with the club. In 24 games with Quad City prior to his recall, the 23-year-old defenseman recorded two goals, six assists and 22 penalty minutes.

The 6-4, 220-pound Pardy needed 70 contests with Omaha of the AHL last season to register two tallies and eight points.
