Devils assign two to Lowell
Jan 4, 2008 - 11:41 PM NEWARK, New Jersey (Ticker) -- The New Jersey Devils on Friday assigned right wing Barry Tallackson and left wing Noah Clarke to Lowell of the American Hockey League.The 6-5 Tallackson, who was recalled on Tuesday under emergency conditions and played in a 3-2 victory over the Florida Panthers a day later, has scored 12 goals and 21 points in 30 games for the Devils' AHL affiliate.
The 24-year-old from Grafton, North Dakota has one goal in 21 career games over two seasons with New Jersey.
Clarke, who also was recalled on Tuesday, scored a goal in the win over Florida. The 28-year-old has recorded three tallies and four points in 21 career NHL games with the Los Angeles Kings and Devils.
Before being called up, the California native notched 12 goals and was second on the team with 25 points in 35 games with Lowell.
