Bruins recall C Sobotka
Jan 12, 2008 - 2:20 AM BOSTON (Ticker) -- The Boston Bruins made a pair of roster moves Friday, recalling center Vladimir Sobotka from Providence and assigning defenseman Matt Lashoff to their American Hockey League affiliate.A fourth-round pick in 2005, Sobotka appeared in 14 games for the Bruins earlier this season, recording two assists and 10 penalty minutes. The 20-year-old Czech also has notched 10 goals and 20 points in 18 contests with Providence.
Lashoff, 21, registered one goal and one assist in nine games with Boston. The 22nd overall pick in 2005 who is slated to start in this season's AHL All-Star Classic, he has collected four tallies and 20 points in 28 contests with Providence.
