Wales injury curse claims Cory Allen
Sep 21, 2015 - 3:17 PM Centre Cory Allen has become the fourth Wales player to see his World Cup dreams dashed because of a hamstring injury suffered in their opening game. The 22-year-old scored three tries in the 2011 World Cup semi-finalists opening Pool A 54-9 victory against Uruguay on Sunday before being taken off.
Tyler Morgan was called up and will join the group in London as they prepare for Saturday's game with hosts England.
Wales coach Warren Gatland's player problems may not end there either as he looks ahead to tough matches against England and later Australia and Fiji.
There are doubts about front row pair Paul James and Samson Lee, Aaron Jarvis has a damaged rib while full back Liam Williams left Sunday's game with a thigh injury.
Gatland has already had to patch up the team after star full-back Leigh Halfpenny and first-choice backs Rhys Webb and Jonathan Davies dropped out before the tournament started.
Even Halfpenny's replacement Eli Walker failed to make it to the tournament, forced out last Monday with a hamstring injury.
