QPR mole trying to force me out: Redknapp
Jan 17, 2015 - 12:05 PM Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has claimed that a club insider is trying to force him out of Loftus Road.QPR went into the weekend's Premier League fixtures inside the relegation zone, sparking newspaper speculation that Redknapp's days at the west London club will be numbered if their fortunes do not improve quickly.
But Redknapp, 67, believes that he has the full support of owner Tony Fernandes and has alleged that elements within the club are trying to destabilise him.
"Somebody is trying to cause me a problem here, by talking to the papers," Redknapp said ahead of his side's home game with fourth-place Manchester United.
"I know what the score is: I'm not silly, I'm very streetwise. Someone's trying to cause me a problem, I'm sure. I wasn't born yesterday. Someone has said something, but it's not a problem.
"I've never had it before. I've never been at a club before where someone has said I'm going to get the sack. And I don't see why. Who puts it in the paper? Someone's put it in the paper."
He added: "They should check everyone's mobile phones and find out. That's the best way. It's easy."
