Falcao 40-yard goal seals Monaco Cup win
Dec 12, 2017 - 11:49 PM Radamel Falcao has lobbed the goalkeeper from the edge of the centre circle to seal a 2-0 win for Monaco over Caen in the fourth round of the French League Cup.Guido Carrillo put the hosts, who lost the final to Paris Saint-Germain last season, ahead on 33 minutes.
Falcao sealed it with five minutes remaining, with his audacious effort leaving Caen keeper Brice Samba stranded.
Toulouse beat visiting Bordeaux 2-0 and Angers defeated Metz 1-0 to progress to the quarter-finals.
PSG, Marseille, and Lyon will be among the 10 teams in fourth-round action on Wednesday.
