Fish withdraws from French Open

May 24, 2007 - 7:36 PM PARIS (Ticker) - American Mardy Fish has pulled out of the French Open with an ankle injury.

The 25-year-old has been playing for his country in the World Team Cup in Dusseldorf this week but Roland Garros organizers announced on Thursday he will not be playing in the Paris Grand Slam, which begins on Sunday.
