- A ref. during the Tenn-florida game some years ago when asked whether or not Tenn scored on a questionable call in the end zone with no time on the clock. the ref went to talk to a state trooper then came back and said, "Touchdown Tenn wins".
Later a reporter asked the state trooper exactly what the ref had asked him the state trooper replied, "The ref said there are a 100,000 thousand fans in here wanting me to say touchdown..if I do not call it a touchdown how much security do you have to get me out of here?"
The state trooper replied, "Not that much".
The ref walked to the end zone and called it, "Touchdown Tenn"

- Tenn vs. Alabama My first game and it was insanity to say the least. I sat in the Tennessee student section and I was 5 feet from the Alabama student section.
