Lynx down Silver Stars for 11th straight win
Sep 9, 2012 - 11:01 PM San Antonio, TX (Sports Network) - Maya Moore had 18 points, 12 rebounds and six assists on Sunday as the Minnesota Lynx continued their winning ways with an 81-62 rout of the San Antonio Silver Stars.Rebekkah Brunson added 15 points and 12 boards, while Lindsay Whalen and Monica Wright both scored 11 for the Lynx, who recorded their 11th straight win -- a single-season franchise record.
Sophia Young scored 20 points and was the only member of the Silver Stars to reach double figures. San Antonio, which shot 36.4 percent from the field, has dropped a season-high five straight games.
The Lynx never trailed in the rout and led by as many as 21.
