Sep 5, 2015 - 2:35 AM MINNEAPOLIS (AP) Sylvia Fowles had 18 points and 14 rebounds and Rebekkah Brunson added 14 points with 11 rebounds to help the Minnesota Lynx beat the Indiana Fever 81-65 on Friday night for their ninth straight victory in the series.

Maya Moore added 11 points for Minnesota (21-10), but left the game in the third quarter with a nose injury. Moore collided with Fowles' elbow at the 2:55 minute mark. She went back to the locker room with a towel over her nose and did not return.

Minnesota was also without Seimone Augustus with a sprained left foot and Lindsay Whalen with a sore Achilles tendon.

Marissa Coleman scored 16 points to lead Indiana (18-13), which hasn't won at Minnesota since June 26, 2011. Tamika Catchings added 10 points and nine rebounds.

Minnesota got 41 first-half points from its starters and held a nine-point lead at the break.

SUN 73, STARS 72

SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Kelsey Bone scored 17 points and made a go-ahead layup with 1.8 seconds left to give the Sun a win over San Antonio to extend the Stars' losing streak to eight games.

Connecticut grabbed Sophia Young-Malcolm's air ball with 14 second left, dribbled to midcourt and called a timeout to set up a final play. Bone got the ball near the free throw line and beat her defender down the lane for a layup. Kayla McBride missed a 3-pointer from the corner at the buzzer.

Chelsea Gray added 14 points for Connecticut (14-18) and Jasmine Thomas had 10 points with eight assists.

McBride led San Antonio (7-24) with 17 points and Danielle Adams added 12.

It was Young-Malcolm's first home game since announcing that she will retire after the season. She has played her entire 10-year WNBA career in San Antonio and holds the franchise's scoring record.
