Sep 12, 2015 - 4:52 AM PHOENIX (AP) Monique Currie scored a season-high 22 points and the Phoenix Mercury beat the Los Angeles Sparks 70-65 on Friday night for their third straight victory.

Phoenix (20-13) is the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference and has home-court advantage in its first-round matchup with Tulsa that starts Thursday night. Los Angeles (14-20) is the No. 4 seed and will open the postseason at Minnesota next Friday night.

Brittney Griner scored 16 points, and Candice Dupree added 12 for the Mercury.

Phoenix led 63-61 when Sparks coach Brian Agler drew a technical foul arguing Jennifer Hamson's foul call against Griner. DeWanna Bonner made the technical free throw, and Griner made both free throws to make it 66-61 with 1:22 remaining. The Sparks pulled to 66-63 before Dupree made two free throws and Currie a layup to seal it.

Hamson scored 12 points, and Ana Dabovic had 10 for the Sparks.

STORM 78, LYNX 64

SEATTLE (AP) - Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis scored 16 points to help Seattle beat Minnesota.

Minnesota was without regulars Seimone Augustus (left foot), Maya Moore (rest) and Lindsay Whalen (right Achilles tendon), all of whom did not travel with the Lynx with their playoff spot as the West's top seed already secured for the fourth time in the past five seasons.

Jewell Loyd scored 14 points, Angel Goodrich had 11 and Markeisha Gatling added 10 points with 10 rebounds for Seattle (10-23).

Sylvia Fowles led Minnesota (22-12) with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Renee Montgomery had 13 points, and Asjha Jones added 11.

SKY 92, SHOCK 71

CHICAGO (AP) - Elena Delle Donne scored 21 points and Chicago beat Tulsa.

Delle Donne, the WNBA scoring leader at 23.2 points, was 9 of 13 from the floor with a pair of 3-pointers. Jessica Breland and Allie Quigley each had 14 points for the Sky (21-12).

Vicki Baugh led the Shock (17-16) with 22 points.

With the playoffs approaching, Chicago is the No. 2 seed in the East, and Tulsa is locked in as the West's No. 3 seed.

MYSTICS 82, LIBERTY 55

NEW YORK (AP) - Tierra Ruffin-Pratt scored 15 points and Washington routed WNBA-leading New York.

With home-court advantage wrapped up throughout the playoffs, the Liberty (23-10) rested most of their starters in the second half. The Mystics (18-15), who clinched a playoff spot this week, are fourth in the Eastern Conference, one game behind Indiana.

Avery Warley-Talbert led the Liberty with 12 points.

FEVER 75, DREAM 67

ATLANTA (AP) - Shavonte Zellous had 14 points and five assists and Indiana beat Atlanta to snap a three-game road losing streak.

Indiana (19-14) has a one-game lead over the Washington Mystics for the third spot in the Eastern Conference. The Fever end the regular season at home against New York on Sunday. The Dream (14-19) will miss the playoffs for the first time since going 4-30 in their inaugural 2008 season.

Sancho Lyttle had 19 points and eight rebounds for Atlanta.
