TAMPA, Florida (Ticker) -- Brett Dietz threw six touchdowns as the Tampa Bay Storm posted a 58-48 victory over the Cleveland Gladiators on Friday.
Dietz completed 28-of-43 attempts for 297 yards and Tyrone Timmons grabbed seven passes for 69 yards and three scores for Tampa Bay (6-6), which has won three straight games.
With the game tied at 41-41 late in the fourth quarter, Torrance Marshall ran for a two-yard touchdown with 6:43 left to put the Storm up by seven. Timmons then caught an eight-yard score from Dietz with 4:21 remaining to give the home team a 55-41 advantage.
Raymond Philyaw went 21-of-27 for 206 yards and three touchdowns for Cleveland (7-5), which saw its three-game winning streak come to an end.
