Knicks, Wizards collide in D.C.

The Knicks haven't won since Nov. 13 at Atlanta and are 2-2 away from Madison Square Garden. During this four-game slide, the Knicks have scored over 100 points just once and allowed over 100 in three.
New York's most recent setback was perhaps its most heart-breaking.
Up three with five seconds to play, Iman Shumpert of the Knicks fouled Indiana Pacers' Paul George on a 3-point attempt. George sank all three free throws to send the game to overtime and the Pacers survived, 103-96.
"Iman being a young player, it was just a foul that we didn't need at that particular time," Knicks head coach Mike Woodson said.
Carmelo Anthony thought he was fouled in the final moments of regulation, but the whistles went silent.
"It's a tough way to let it slip out of your hands," said Anthony, who led the way for the Knicks with 30 points and 18 rebounds. "I thought we had it won. They didn't call it, so I'm done speaking on the officials."
J.R. Smith scored 21 points off the bench and Beno Udrih, who started in place of injured Raymond Felton, added 19. Andrea Bargnani chipped in 10. Felton is listed as questionable.
Washington will start a quick homestand Saturday versus New York and the Los Angeles Lakers, and had a two-game winning streak stopped with Friday's 96-88 setback at Toronto.
After the Wizards posted a 32-15 advantage in the third quarter, the Raptors turned the tables with a 30-18 margin in the final stanza. John Wall poured in 37 points on 15-of-21 shooting to lead the Wizards, while Bradley Beal ended with 17 points and Nene chipped in 10 and 10 rebounds.
"I was able to knock down shots, but it doesn't mean anything if you don't come away with a win," Wall said.
The Wizards have lost five of their last seven contests and are 2-2 in D.C. Forward Al Harrington missed Friday's game with a sore knee and is questionable Saturday. He hasn't played since Nov. 12 at Dallas.
Washington lost three of four meetings with New York a season ago and has dropped 12 of 13 and 16 of the last 19 matchups with the Knicks. The Knicks are 5-1 in their last six trips to the Verizon Center.
