Mann, Achter lead Baylor's rout of Western Michigan

Jan 25, 2007 - 7:57 AM KALAMAZOO, Michigan (Ticker) -- Ali Mann and Kate Achter lit up the nets and combined for 40 points to lead No. 16 Bowling Green to a 90-62 romp over Western Michigan in Mid-American Conference.

Megan Thorburn scored 15 points for the Falcons, who shot a blistering 56 percent (37-of-66) from the field and 8-of-18 from the arc to secure the victory.

Mann and Achter combined to shoot 17-of-26 from the floor. Thorburn was an efficient 6-of-9 from the field, including 3-of-5 on 3-pointers for Bowling Green (17-2, 7-0 MAC), which extended its conference winning streak to 32 consecutive games.

Carrie Moore scored 24 points on 10-of-18 shooting for the Broncos (8-13, 1-6), who shot 49 percent (25-of-51) and committed a whopping 25 turnovers.
