Bullard, Toliver lead Storm in come-from-behind win
May 13, 2007 - 7:14 AM LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- Thaddeus Bullard threw a two-yard touchdown pass to T.T. Toliver with 41 seconds left to lift the Tampa Bay Storm to a 40-37 come-from-behind victory over the Los Angeles Avengers.Los Angeles (5-5) opened up a 37-27 lead in the fourth quarter on a six-yard touchdown pass from Sonny Cumbie to Robert Quiroga. Bullard responded with a 14-yard touchdown pass to Toliver.
After Avengers kicker Remy Hamilton missed a field goal, Bullard led the Storm on a three-play, 29-yard game-winning drive. Hamilton missed a 47-yard field goal attempt as time expired.
Bullard passed for 224 yards and five touchdowns as the Storm moved into a tie for third place in the Southern Division with the New Orleans VooDoo.
