Miller re-signs with Suns until 2019
Feb 8, 2017 - 1:10 AM Gold Coast have re-signed midfielder Touk Miller until the end of the 2019 AFL season.Miller, who was already contracted until the end of this year, was voted into the club's leadership group after just 40 games since debuting for the club in 2015.
The 20-year-old said his quick rise to senior ranks in the club had played a part in him making the decision not to look elsewhere.
"I was super happy and honoured to be given that role," he said.
"It's another stepping stone for me to continue and I'm looking forward to taking that role for the year and hopefully many more years to come."
Miller is due to return from an ankle reconstruction in this weekend's intra-squad trial match, and he was confident the injury wouldn't affect him at all in the upcoming season.
"The ankle is super," he said.
"It feels really good and comfortable. The physios are happy, the coaches are happy - so it's really good."
