Picken signs new AFL deal with Bulldogs
Apr 18, 2017 - 10:52 AM Western Bulldogs premiership star Liam Picken has re-signed with the AFL club until the end of 2019.The 30-year-old signed the two-year deal after finishing fifth in last year's club best and fairest voting.
"I was just concentrating on footy, so when the club came to me, I was more than happy," he said.
Picken was arguably the best player during the Bulldogs' triumphant finals series and says it was a no-brainer to sign his new two-year deal.
"Hopefully we've got some exciting times coming up, so it was an easy decision," he said.
Picken, who kicked three goals in the grand final win over Sydney, has played 180 games since his 2009 debut.
