Pair of Argos highlight CFL's best
Oct 28, 2014 - 4:38 PM Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) - Toronto Argonauts running back Steve Slaton and linebacker James Yurichuk were named the top Offensive and Canadian performers, respectively, for Week 18 of the CFL season.Slaton had 80 yards on 16 carries and caught five passes for 77 yards with a touchdown in the Argonauts' 26-24 home victory over Hamilton.
Yurichuk registered a sack, one tackle for a loss and an interception.
BC Lions defensive end Khreem Smith and Calgary Stampeders linebacker Glenn Love rounded out the weekly honorees.
Smith took home the defensive award after setting career highs with eight tackles and four sacks in the Lions' 28-23 win at Winnipeg.
Love totaled a personal-best four special teams tackles as the Stampeders beat visiting Saskatchewan 40-27.
