Eskimos QB White retires
Mar 19, 2015 - 10:05 PM Edmonton, AB (SportsNetwork.com) - The Edmonton Eskimos announced the retirement of quarterback Pat White on Thursday.The former West Virginia quarterback joined the Eskimos in 2014 and rushed for four touchdowns and 159 yards. He also threw a touchdown pass in limited action at quarterback.
The 29-year-old White appeared in 49 games over his four-year college career (2005-08) with the Mountaineers, passing for 6,049 yards and 56 touchdowns while rushing for 4,480 yards on 684 carries and 47 TDs.
White failed to find success with the Redskins and Dolphins in two brief NFL stints.
