Rahane century helps India beat Windies
Jun 25, 2017 - 10:40 PM Opening batsman Ajinkya Rahane scored his first one-day international century since 2014 as India beat West Indies by 105 runs in Port of Spain.Rahane's 103 was his first three-figure ODI score in 35 innings and helped the tourists take a 1-0 series lead.
Rain washed out the first ODI on Friday and the weather reduced the second contest to 43 overs a side.
India were sent in to bat and made quick progress, with Rahane's ton added to by 63 from fellow opener Shikhar Dhawan and a 66-ball 87 from skipper Virat Kohli as the visitors posted 5-310.
Shai Hope was the one ray of light in the hosts' line-up, hitting 81, but the Windies managed just 6-205 against the Champions Trophy runners-up.
