Reyes homers twice; Mets pound Marlins

LUCIE, Florida (Ticker) -- Jose Reyes hit a pair of home runs and finished with six RBI as the New York Mets rolled to a 9-0 victory over the Florida Marlins in Grapefruit League action on Thursday.Carlos Beltran recorded three RBI for the Mets, who pounded out 12 hits.
Oliver Perez, who signed a three-year, $36 million deal earlier this month, tossed two hitless innings in his first start of the spring. The lefthander struck out three and walked one.
Five other Mets' pitchers held the Marlins to two hits.
Chris Volstad, who went 6-4 in 14 starts last season, allowed one run and four hits in two innings for the Marlins.
