Morrow shuts the door again, Jays beat White Sox

"When I have fastball command down to both sides of the plate, that's when I've been at my best," said Morrow. "I had that tonight."
Morrow (7-3) fanned five and allowed just two walks and two hits, which came on a pair of singles from A.J. Pierzynski.
Rajai Davis posted a two-run shot, Jose Bautista also homered and Colby Rasmus knocked in the other run for the Blue Jays, who won their third straight contest.
Jose Quintana (1-1) was charged for two runs on nine hits and a walk over six frames to take the loss, the club's third in their last four tries.
"Tonight, he just continued to prove that he's going to get another shot," said Chicago manager Robin Ventura about Quintana. "He's proved he can pitch up here."
Toronto broke a scoreless tie in the fifth as Rasmus punched a two-out single into the left-field gap to score Davis, who reached on a fielder's choice two batters earlier.
The Blue Jays then doubled their advantage in the sixth on Bautista's leadoff blast over the wall in left for his 15th homer of the season.
Chicago got the leadoff runner on in the eighth as Pierzynski ripped his second single of the game, but pinch-runner Brent Lillibridge was thrown out trying to steal second to end any kind of a rally for the White Sox.
Davis gave the Jays some breathing room in the ninth, ripping a two-out, two- run blast down the left-field line to extend the lead to 4-0.
