First game of Orioles-Athletics doubleheader postponed
Sep 6, 2008 - 2:46 PM BALTIMORE (Ticker) -- The first game of the day-night doubleheader between the Baltimore Orioles and the Oakland Athletics on Saturday was postponed due to rain caused by Tropical Storm Hanna.While the afternoon game has been scratched, the second game is still scheduled and will be played if weather permits.
So far, no makeup date has been decided upon for the opening game.
