Mariners endure another postponement
Apr 12, 2007 - 8:36 PM BOSTON (Ticker) -- Mother Nature continues to impact the Seattle Mariners. The Mariners had their game against the Boston Red Sox postponed due to inclement weather.
It marked the fifth time in less than a week that the Mariners had a game postponed. Their entire four-game series at Cleveland last weekend was wiped out by a winter storm off Lake Erie.
The Mariners, who were in the midst of their only trip of the season to Boston, will make another trip to the city on an off day on May 3 to make up this contest.
Moving forward, Seattle likely will not have to worry about the weather for a while since it plays its next nine games on the West Coast.
Boston hosts the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the opener of a four-game series Friday.
No one has shouted yet.
