Indians hope to bounce back against Orioles
May 5, 2007 - 2:09 PM Cleveland (17-9) at Baltimore (13-16), 7:05 pm EDTBALTIMORE (Ticker) -- The Baltimore Orioles snapped a pair of streaks with their win over the Cleveland Indians on Friday night. They'll hope to start another one when they host the Indians again on Saturday.
The Orioles snapped a four-game losing streak and broke the Indians' four-game winning streak.
Daniel Cabrera (1-3, 4.50 ERA) will try to get Baltimore two wins in a row when he takes the hill on Saturday. The tall righthander struggled in his last start, yielding five runs - four earned - in five innings against Detroit.
Cleveland will counter with Jeremy Sowers (0-1, 4.40). The second-year lefthander has yet to notch a win this season despite allowing three earned runs or less in four of his five starts.
Sowers allowed three runs - two earned - and six hits in six innings last Saturday in a no-decision against Baltimore.
The Indians have won 10 of their last 12 games.
