Devil Rays seek series sweep of Rangers

ORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) -- A move to Disney World has been very good for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

The Devil Rays look to remain perfect at the Magic Kingdom as they seek sweep of a three-game series with the Texas Rangers on Thursday.

The Devil Rays are also going for their first four-game winning streak since May 18-21, 2006.

Scott Kazmir (2-2, 3.96 ERA) takes the ball for Tampa Bay, which is playing this series from the minor league park at Walt Disney's Wide World of Sports complex.

Last time out, Kazmir allowed five runs and nine hits in 6 1/3 innings of a 5-1 setback at the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday. The lefthander is trying to avoid consecutive losses for the first time.

Taking the hill for the Rangers will be Kameron Loe (1-3, 5.89), who has dropped three of his last four starts. The righthander gave up five runs in seven frames of a 6-3 loss to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on Saturday.

Carl Crawford tripled with the bases loaded and Delmon Young went 2-for-4 with three RBI in Wednesday's 11-8 triumph for Tampa Bay.

Texas' Sammy Sosa homered in the fourth inning as he has now hit a shot in a major league-record 45 different parks and is three shy of becoming the fifth player to reach the 600 mark.
