Brewers look to snap five-game skid behind Capuano

May 28, 2007 - 1:25 PM Atlanta (28-22) at Milwaukee (28-22) 2:05 pm EDT

MILWAUKEE (Ticker) - The Milwaukee Brewers hope to snap a season-high five-game losing streak when they meet the Atlanta Braves on Monday.

Looking to snap their skid, the Brewers send Chris Capuano (5-3, 4.13 ERA) to the mound.

Capuano has not made it past the fourth inning in any of his three losses. In his last start, the lefthander allowed four runs and eight hits in four innings in a 5-1 loss to Los Angeles.

Milwaukee, which has lost 12 of 16, is looking to rebound at home where it boast a National League-best 17-7 mark.

Meanwhile, the Braves have not fared much better, as they were swept at home by the Philadelphia Phillies over the weekend.

Atlanta, which has lost 10 of 14, will send lefthander Chuck James (4-4, 4.13) to the mound. James lasted only 4 2/3 innings in a 3-0 loss to the New York Mets on Wednesday.
