Final
Tigers down White Sox

All three players finished with two hits, while starter Rick Porcello (3-2) allowed just one run on four hits and two walks with five strikeouts over 6 1/3 innings of work.
"He pitched extremely well," said Detroit manager Jim Leyland about Porcello. "That gives us a chance, particularly when you're not scoring the runs like we think we're capable of scoring."
Closer Jose Valverde worked around a leadoff single in the ninth to record his fifth save of the season as the Tigers took two of three from Chicago.
Adam Dunn's home run in the first accounted for all of Chicago's scoring and starter Dylan Axelrod (0-1) surrendered two runs on six hits and two walks over 4 1/3 innings to take the loss, Chicago's fourth in five tries.
Dunn belted a game-winning home run in the ninth inning of Saturday's 3-2 victory, and picked up where he left off on Sunday, scorching a shot over the wall in right to give the White Sox a 1-0 lead in the top of the first.
"We played neck and neck all three games," remarked Dunn. "We just, obviously, didn't get the big hit to either tie it or put us up."
Jackson quickly answered in the bottom half, launching a leadoff blast into the seats in left field to tie the game.
Fielder then put the Tigers on top for good in the third as he deposited a 2-2 fastball into one of the deepest parts of the park in left-center field to give Detroit a one-run edge.
Detroit got some insurance in the eighth as Dirks belted his second home run of the season to extend the Tigers' cushion to 3-1 before Valverde fanned two in the ninth to slam the door on the White Sox.
