Ogando leaves early in shutout win

Alexi Ogando started the game and fired three perfect frames before leaving in the top of the fourth while running to first. Robbie Ross (6-0) entered and continued the no-hit bid until an Aubrey Huff double in the sixth. Mike Adams and Joe Nathan each added a scoreless frame to keep the Giants off the board.
Josh Hamilton and Ian Kinsler each knocked in a pair of runs as the Rangers wrapped up a 10-game road trip at 4-6.
Tim Lincecum (2-7) allowed five runs on nine hits and four walks in 5 2/3 innings to absorb the loss. Huff had the only extra-base hit for the Giants, who lost their first home series since being swept by Miami from May 1-3.
"He's been very good at times and then he has his hiccups," said Giants manager Bruce Bochy about Lincecum. "He was off at times today, no getting around that."
Texas grabbed a 1-0 lead in the third when Elvis Andrus ripped a one-out triple and Adrian Beltre followed two batters later with a double to left.
The Rangers plated two more in the fourth as Mitch Moreland and Craig Gentry smacked consecutive singles. Ogando followed with a bunt single to load the bases, but was injured on his way to first and forced to exit the contest.
Kinsler then laced a double into the left-field corner, scoring Moreland and Gentry to give Texas a 3-0 lead.
Ogando was diagnosed with a strained right groin and did not return after being removed for pinch-runner Matt Harrison. The perfect game was broken up in the fifth when Brandon Belt reached on an error by Kinsler at second before Huff's double in the sixth.
The visitors added some insurance runs in the sixth when Hamilton scorched a two-run double into right to extend the margin to 5-0.
"We're gonna continue to scratch and continue to claw and continue to do whatever we have to do until we get back to playing the type of baseball that we know we are capable of," said Rangers manager Ron Washington.
