Rays rely on Price in rubber match with O's

Price was roughed up to the tune of eight runs in five innings two starts ago, but the American League's reigning Cy Young Award winner bounced back nicely in Boston on Saturday, as he allowed a run and four hits in six innings.
However, he did not get a decision in his team's 2-1 loss and is 0-1 on the year with a 5.82 ERA.
Price held the Red Sox to two runs in six innings in a no-decision on Opening Day and is 6-2 lifetime against them with a 2.27 ERA in 13 starts.
Baltimore, meanwhile, will counter with righty Miguel Gonzalez, who is 1-1 with a 2.92 ERA. Gonzalez lost to the New York Yankees on Friday, as he allowed three runs (2 earned) on five hits and five walks.
"(Catcher Matt Wieters) was telling me, 'What's wrong, what's wrong?' and I told him it's part of the game," Gonzalez said of battling through from the first pitch on. "They did a good job when I was leaving the ball up.
Gonzalez beat the Rays back on April 4 and is 2-1 in five starts against them with a 3.49 ERA.
Tampa bounced back from a loss in Tuesday's opener on Wednesday, as James Loney finished 3-for-3 with three RBI and one run scored to lead the Rays to a 6-2 victory. Kelly Johnson and Shelley Duncan each smacked solo homers, while Yunel Escobar added an RBI single to help Tampa snap a four-game skid.
Matt Moore (3-0) struck out seven and limited the O's to two runs on five hits and three walks over 6 2/3 frames to earn the victory.
Adam Jones stroked a two-run homer to account for Baltimore's offense, while starter Chris Tillman (0-1) was charged with four runs allowed on six hits and two walks over five frames for the Orioles, who took the opener of the series, 5-4, on Tuesday.
"It's disappointing," Tillman said of his outing "I think I've got some things to work on right now. I think the biggest thing is getting strike one."
Baltimore, which took two of three from the Rays earlier in the year, is in the midst of a nine-game homestand.
