Red Sox-White Sox rained out; doubleheader Friday
Aug 24, 2007 - 4:33 AM CHICAGO (Ticker) -- Thursday's game between the Chicago White Sox and the Boston Red Sox has been postponed due to rain.The teams will play a day-night doubleheader beginning at 2:05 p.m. EDT on Friday. The nightcap is set to begin at the regularly scheduled time of 8:11 p.m. EDT.
The Red Sox will start Josh Beckett (15-5) in the opener against Jon Garland (8-9), while Curt Schilling (7-5) faces off with White Sox rookie John Danks (6-11) in the nightcap.
