MLB Note - Philadelphia Phillies Pivetta, Nick
Jul 26, 2017 - 10:34 AM RHP Nick Pivetta did well against the potent Houston lineup early during his start Tuesday night, limiting the Astros to one run and one hit through the first five innings. But the Astros got to him in the sixth, plating four runs with five hits, including a two-out, two-RBI single that make it 5-0. Pivetta (3-6) departed after six innings, having given up six hits and five runs (all earned) and striking out seven as his ERA rose to 5.73. "Left a couple hanging sliders, that's about it," Pivetta said. "Definitely felt really well off my hand (early). I just hung two sliders. A few pitches got me tonight, that's how it goes."No one has shouted yet.
