MLB Note - Pittsburgh Pirates Brault, Steven
Jul 26, 2017 - 10:35 AM LHP Steven Brault was outstanding both on the mound and at the plate in Tuesday's loss to the San Francisco Giants. Asked to mop up after the Pirates had fallen behind 10-0, Brault pitched three shutout innings, allowing just two hits. During his stint, he stepped to the plate and drilled a single off Giants RHP Chris Stratton. It was the first hit of Brault's season and third of his career.No one has shouted yet.
