On Wednesday, White Sox general manager Rick Hahn said Garcia would be placed on the disabled list and miss a couple of weeks after an MRI on Wednesday showed a ligament strain in his right thumb. Garcia said Wednesday he felt a difference is how his hand was feeling, which prompted him to seek attention. "Hopefully, it's 10 days," Garcia said Wednesday. "It's not too serious. Let's see what happens."
