MLB Note - Colorado Rockies Marquez, German
Jul 27, 2017 - 7:28 AM RHP German Marquez will start the opening game of Colorado's weekend series Friday night in Washington. Marquez was dominant Saturday night in the Rockies' 7-3 win over Pittsburgh, tying a career high with nine strikeouts over seven innings and allowing just two runs off three hits and two walks. He was cuffed by the Nationals on April 25 at Coors Field, permitting a career-high eight runs on nine hits in four innings.No one has shouted yet.
