He has quality starts in three straight games, going 2-1 with a 2.75 ERA. Cashner will be on extended five days' rest due to Thursday's off day. He picked up the victory in a 4-3 Texas win on July 22 at Tampa Bay, going six innings and giving up three runs on four hits and three walks. He is 0-1 with a 2.57 ERA in two career starts against Baltimore, with the loss coming July 14 in a 3-1 setback on the road.
