MLB Note - San Diego Padres Solarte, Yangervis
Jul 29, 2017 - 8:19 AM INF Yangerivs Solarte (hamstring) continues to make strides in his minor league rehab assignment. Solarte isn't that far off from returning, and when he does, the team's second baseman could see time at shortstop. That speaks to how highly the team things of rookie Carlos Asuaje as well as its lack of having an everyday shortstop. Solarte is playing shortstop in the minors.No one has shouted yet.
