MLB Note - Houston Astros Keuchel, Dallas
Jul 29, 2017 - 8:19 AM LHP Dallas Keuchel returned to the Houston rotation Friday for the first time since June 2. There were rust issues as Keuchel reached 79 pitches in just three innings. He walked three, struck out three and gave up three runs in his three innings. "All in all it's great to see him on the field," manager A.J. Hinch said. "We feel good when he's on the mound. He wasn't as sharp as he's going to be." "I felt pretty good," Keuchel said, his 9-0 record still intact after not being involved in the decision. "I've got to commend them for laying off some pitches early. When I did take charge of the at-bats is when I had success. It felt good to get out and compete again."No one has shouted yet.
