MLB Note - Boston Red Sox Price, David
Jul 29, 2017 - 8:19 AM LHP David Price is headed back to the disabled list and will miss his scheduled start Friday night against the Kansas City Royals due to a recurrence of his elbow ailment, the Boston Red Sox announced. Price, 31, was placed on the 10-day disabled list (retroactive to July 25) with left elbow inflammation. The issue is reportedly similar to the injury that sidelined Price for the first two months of the season. Since his return to the mound on May 29, Price is 5-3 with a 3.82 ERA and 63 strikeouts against 22 walks over 66 innings in 11 starts.No one has shouted yet.
