MLB Note - Pittsburgh Pirates Nova, Ivan
Aug 14, 2017 - 6:24 AM RHP Ivan Nova (10-9, 3.87 ERA) will open a two-game series in Milwaukee on Tuesday against the Brewers. He allowed six runs in 6 1/3 innings in a 10-0 loss to the Detroit Tigers Wednesday. He has pitched at least six innings in 20 of 23 starts this season and has not walked more than two batters in any of his starts this season. He has lost each of his past three decisions since winning back-to-back starts July 8-18 against the Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee. He is 2-1 with a 3.60 ERA in four career starts against the Brewers. He is 1-1 with a 4.85 ERA in two starts this season against Milwaukee.No one has shouted yet.
