Aug 15, 2017 - 9:11 AM 1B Joey Votto went 3-for-5 Monday to extend his franchise record of consecutive games reaching base two times or more to 19. He has hit safely in 18 of those games. Overall he has reached base in 52 of 85 plate appearances during that span for a .612 on-base percentage. It was his fifth game with three or more hits this season. His streak of reaching base multiple times is the longest in the big leagues since Barry Bonds reached more than once in 20 straight games. The major league record is 21 set in 1948 by Ted Williams.No one has shouted yet.
