Cessa has appeared in 10 games, making five starts, for New York this season. He was 0-3 with a 4.75 ERA, including 4 1/3 innings of two-run ball against the New York Mets on Monday. The 25-year-old Cessa started nine of 17 games with the Yankees in 2016, logging a 4-4 record and 4.35 ERA.
